Trinity Learning Center has been serving the Fruitland Park/Leesburg community since 1996 as a ministry of Trinity Assembly of God. Our vision at TLC is that all children are loved, welcomed and valued as Christ has loved us. As a result we want to provide a warm and loving environment for the children to grow and learn.
We provide a fun, safe, and stimulating learning environment for the children. Each classroom is set up with centers so learning and play go hand in hand. Our Daily Schedule is customized for each classroom to meet the needs of the children. Our day includes a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated activities. We strive to provide many opportunities throughout the day for children to learn about and explore the world around them. We use the High Scope curriculum for all our classes as well as Growing with God Bible Curriculum. Our 1's, 2's, and 3-5's all have their own, age-appropriate playgrounds. On those days when the weather is not cooperating, we have a full size, air-conditioned gym available.
We offer before and after school programs for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, who attend Fruitland Park Elementary. Our school age program is focused on providing opportunities for children to finish homework, as well as a time to relax and have fun after a long school day. Children arrive at the center and enjoy a nutritious snack time. Then time is provided to complete homework, play team building games or create with art supplies. The children also have a physical fitness time in our gym or on our playground. We also offer full-day care for many of the days that school is closed. Our summer program is enriched with fun community based field trips, crafts and activities, a field day, VBS and a sports camp.
Our staff at TLC is comprised of dedicated and selfless teachers who are always giving more to benefit the children. Our staff looks at working with families as a ministry and a calling, which we take very seriously. As management we work very hard to give the teachers the training, support and help that is needed to make sure classrooms run smoothly and efficiently. Our staff continues their education to equip us all with the tools to better serve the children, parents, and community.
